The Kalibo Save the Mangrove (KASAMA) will present a concept paper in a summit at the Mandarin Hotel in Manila Nov 23-24.
Atty. Allen Quimpo, KASAMA president, said the paper concept is part of the presentation for the Watershed Alliances for Panay and Guimaras.
“This high level, strategic forum includes the Dept. of Environment and Natural Resources and the academe.
KASAMA looks at the opportunity on how we can advance our advocacy and belief ” Quimpo, a former congressman of the province, said.
Among these beliefs are that strategic environment sustainability rests on the ability of the people to organize alliances and mutual relationships.
