Topmost wanted killer yields to police

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela, April 2 (PNA) — A 37-year-old suspected killer, listed as topmost wanted person at the provincial level, finally fell into police operations on Saturday after a year in hiding in San Vicente, Ilagan City.
Police Supt. Manuel Bringas, Ilagan City police chief, said murder suspect Elmer Ubay was arrested in a boarding house in San Vicente village.
Judge Bernabe Mendoza, Regional Trial Court-Branch 23 judge in Roxas, Isabela, issued the arrest warrant against Ubay for murder charges under CriminalCase No. 23-2380 on August 3, 2015.
Ubay was tagged as a member of a gun-for-hire syndicate in Isabela. (PNA)
