The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) regional office continuously provide employment opportunities in response to the rising number of jobseekers in Central Luzon.
The DOLE-3, in collaboration with the provincial government through its Public Employment Service Office (PESO), has recently held another job fair for the walk-in jobseekers and newly graduates of the Ama Computer Learning Center (ACLC) at Hotel Stotsenberg, Clarkfield.
Together with the walk-in jobseekers, some 350 new graduates tried their luck for vacant positions being offered by some 20 companies for local and overseas.
During the event, DOLE Regional Director Leopoldo B. De Jesus urged the graduates to seize job fair opportunities being offered by the government and private sectors.
He likewise urged them to venture into entrepreneurship.
With our new set of graduates joining the ranks of the labor force, the DOLE, along with its partner agencies will continue to facilitate more employment opportunities for the fast-rising job seekers here in the region, De Jesus said.
Another major highlight of the event was the signing of a memorandum of agreement (MOA) for the establishment of ACLC Apalit Branch as a school-based PESO. (PNA)
