Matching the images of the suspects taken from a closed-circuit television footage with those on the rogues’ gallery, police are getting close in identifying the suspects behind Saturday’s robbery of a jewelry shop at the SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
Eastern Police District (EPD)director Sr. Supt. Miguel Laurel on Monday refused to immediately name the suspects as they would ask the mall’s security guards to help identify the suspects and would also hold a case conference within the day.
Heavily-armed men entered the mall on Saturday night and broke into the F & C jewelry store at the ground floor.
Upon taking their loot, the suspects then fired shots in the air causing panic and chaos among mall-goers.
