Potable Water System

The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Caraga Regional Office on Tuesday turned-over P3.34 million potable water system under the DAR-Agrarian Reform Infrastructure Support Project (ARISP III) in Barangay San Isidro, Tubod, Surigao del Norte.

Tubod Mayor Cristina Hemady Arcillas and San Isidro barangay captain Carmelito Arado received the project expected to benefit more than 220 households in Tubod Agrarian Reform Community.

“Gone are the days when we have wait for the rain and walk kilometers to fetch drinking water”, said DAR Regional Director Faisar Mambuay.

Mayor Arcillas and other local officials expressed optimism that this project, together with the up coming road project, will help bring productivity in the area.
