The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) will be conducting its 7th Annual Bull Run this coming Jan. 9, 2011.
The event is expected to draw 6000 runners when it kicks off as the first Sunday race in Metro Manila for the year.
The PSE Bull Run: Takbo Para Sa Ekonomiya, which will be held at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, is an annual running event organized by the PSE as part of its advocacy campaign to inform the people about the Philippine stock market.
“The PSE Bull Run becomes more meaningful after the index’s record-breaking performance in 2010. We are optimistic that the bull market trend will be sustained in 2011 after a brief and healthy correction,” PSE president and chief executive officer Val Antonio B. Suarez said.
The PSE Bull Run has been envisioned to serve as one of stock regulator’s key marketing projects.
The event aims not only to raise stock market awareness but also to promote camaraderie among PSE employees, listed companies and trading participants.
