The world is facing yet the biggest threat to our health and survival. The nuclear radiation leak in Japan can reach and hit Spain and other European countries. Reports say nuclear radioactive cloud can travel and hit any country, including Spain.
Spain’s Government must monitor its atmosphere for any presence of radioactive materials in water or air.
The nuclear radiation crisis is a human tragedy, a world problem. Every country must come and rescue Japan. Spain must contribute something to help Japan to solve the nuclear radiation crisis. Here’s the latest news from Japan.
Japan’s government on Friday asked residents staying near the evacuation zone around the troubled Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant to leave their homes voluntarily.
At present, the evacuation zone is the area within a 20-kilometer radius from the power station at the center of the country’s nuclear crisis. People living in areas between 20 and 30 kilometers from the plant have been advised to stay indoors to prevent possible exposure to excessive amounts of radiation.
Speaking at a news conference, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano said it is becoming difficult to help maintain the ordinary lives of residents holed up in the 20-30 kilometer area over a long period because commercial activities and goods distribution there have almost stopped. “In the light of such social demands, it is desirable for those living in the areas to evacuate voluntarily,” the government’s top spokesman said.
