Exactly 1,375 people benefited from the medical mission held at Surigao City National High School Gymnasium, Barangay San Juan, Surigao City Wednesday. The medical and dental mission activity benefited 270 persons for tooth extraction; 455 persons for eye examination and distribution of eyeglasses; 100 persons for dermatologic examination / treatment; and 550 persons for medical consultation / treatment. The medical mission was jointly undertaken by the Chicago-based Philippine Medical Association headed by Dr. Simeon Sevandal, Rotary Club of Metro Surigao, Rotary Club of Midtown Jewel, and the Philippines Army’s administrative service brigade.
