The Provincial Veterinary Office (PVO) here will hold a Livestock Technology Production Seminar on Aug. 30 at the Provincial Training and Development Center here as a means to enhance livestock production even during the rainy season.
Dr. Eric Jose Perez, officer-in-charge in the office of the Provincial Veterinarian, that provincial employees coming from various departments and offices, together with some invited veterinarians and livestock inspectors from various local government units (LGUs) in the province would join the seminar.
Topics to be discussed include New Trends on Feeding and Swine Nutrition; Swine Management; and Health Management of Large and Small Ruminant during Rainy Seasons.
Invited resource speakers are veterinarians from the private sector, including those from Novartis and Pigrolac.
Governor Amado T. Espino Jr. will keynote the seminar. He will be joined by board members Von Mark Mendoza and Raul Sison of 2nd District and Danilo Uy of 5th District, chairman on the provincial board committee on agriculture.
