Honshu, Japan Hit by Earthquake

An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale jolted near the east coast of Honshu, Japan at 0621 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.00 km, was initially determined to be at 36.1539 degrees north latitude and 141.4938 degrees east longitude.
