Shangri-la’s Mactan Island Resort and Spa will hold its 3rd Go Green Cebu Fair on November 25 in line with its corporate social responsibility mission.
The one-day fair, themed “Green on the Go,” aims to gather stakeholders across all sectors in a comprehensive conference to discuss sustainable practices that mitigate the environmental impact of individual and corporate actions.
The conference will begin with a series of lectures that focus on personal motivation.

Anna Meloto-Wilk will share her experiences in social entrepreneurship and grassroots participation.
She is the president of Gandang Kalikasan, an offshoot of the Gawad Kalinga advocacy, as well as Human Heart Nature, a company that supplies personal care products that are completely organic, chemical-free and locally sourced.
Certified integrative well-being coach Mary Jean Netario Cruz will share how personal wellness can be achieved through healthy lifestyle choices.
The scope of discussion expands to include community initiatives, with young environmental advocate Anna Oposa talking about inter-generational responsibility, and university lecturer Carlos Libosada Jr. to share his views on sustainable ecotourism.
Representatives from the corporate sector will rap up the series.
Regina Lopez, managing director of ABS-CBN Foundation, will share details of the Bantay Kalikasan project. Ma. Luisa Daya-Garcia, principal architect of MLDDG and Associates, will discuss green architecture.
