About P700,000 worth of property has been damaged by the fire that hit residential area in Poblacion Tabuc, Mambusao, Capiz.
Report reaching here said the fire, which broke out Saturday, destroyed three residential houses before the town’s firetruck arrived to put out the blaze.
Based on the investigation made by Mambusao Fire Station, an electrical short circuit triggered the fire.
Destroyed were the houses owned by Nemesio Alicaya, Bernardo Vito and Ricardo Lariosa.
Senior Fire Officer 1 Reynaldo Valieno said the fire started at the house of Alicaya.
Of the three residential structures, Alicaya’s vintage house incurred the biggest damage of about P600,000 while those of Vito and Lariosa both incurred minimal damage placed at some P75,000 and P25,000 worth of property, respectively.
