Police authorities here are now hunting a housemaid who took some P1 million worth of cash and assorted jewelry from her doctor-employer’s home last Tuesday.

Dr. Manuelito Garcia Capoy, 56, of San Rafael Village here, said their housemaid, Rosalinda Tanudtanud, left their home and carted away some P1-million worth of cash and jewelry from their safety vault.

Capoy told the police that around 8 a.m. on November 15, he and his wife left their home to attend to some important matters. When they returned home at 6 p.m. on the same day, they were surprised upon seeing their gate opened but all lights were off including their mounted closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera.

They also found out that their safety vault was already opened and the P100,000 cash and some P900,000 worth of jewelry are missing.
