City councilor Elmer Datuin Thursday said that the Baguio city government has set the completion of the P10-million “dancing fountain” of Burnham Park to be finished in March 2012.
He said that the fountain to be at the center of the park’s lagoon which is popular worldwide as the boating area is expected to have spurting waters which “dances” in unison with the music played.
“The fountain is among the various improvements we now undertake for the premier park of Baguio. Also on-going is the completion of the re-designed rose garden,” Datuin said.
Most tourists coming here do not miss to visit the American-designed part which has an area of more than five hectares as Burnham Park remains as the most familiar place for Baguio visitors and residents.
