Classes are still suspended in several public and private schools in Dagupan City still under flood waters due to a week of heavy rains spawned by tropical storm “Falcon.”

Officials of the City Schools Division went on radio early today and announced they have implemented selective suspension of classes affecting public and private schools still under water.

There are still no classes at the Dagupan City National High School, Bonuan High School, Juan Siapno Elementary School, Malued Elementary School, West Central Elementary School 2, Lucao Elementary School, Tambac Elementary School, Bacayao Norte Elementary School and East Central Integrated School, all public schools.

The private schools that still have no classes are La Marea Academy, Pama Learning Center, Creative Montessori Center, Lyceum General High School and Lyceum Francisco Q. Duque Science High School.

Classes in Dagupan and Pangasinan were suspended by the Department of Education (DepEd) last June 24 because of heavy rains spawned by “Falcon.”
