The British Embassy in Manila is keen on supporting the Philippine government’s public-private partnership (PPP) program, rolling out with a capacity-building workshop, “Experience-Sharing and Workshop on Public-Private Partnership,” on March 8 and 9 in Makati City.
It is organized with the La Liga Policy Institute, Reforms for Economic Development (Code: RED) and the PPP Center.
Experts from the United Kingdom, Edward Farquharson and James Ballingall of the Infrastructure United Kingdom of Her Majesty’s Treasury, will be in Manila and share the British experience on PPPs.
Industry experts, practitioners, and other stakeholders in the Philippine infrastructure development program have been invited to participate.
The Treasury is the UK’s Economics and Finance Ministry with functions similar to the Philippine Department of Finance (DOF) and the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA).
