The Malay Philippine National Police (PNP) has recently conducted the first phase of Barangay Peace Action Team’s (BPAT’s) Trainor’s Training held in Brgy. Balusbos Elementary School in Malay, Aklan.
The local government unit of Malay, headed by Mayor John P. Yap, committed full support to the programs and projects of the PNP especially in the maintenance of peace and order of the municipality particularly in the island resort of Boracay.
The three-day Trainor’s Training was participated by 134 BPAT members from 14 barangays of Malay spearheaded by their respective barangay chairman.
The Malay PNP is the first police station which echoed the training after the activity was conducted at the Aklan Police Provincial Office last month.
The second phase of the activity is scheduled on April 14-16 with guest lecturers coming from the different sectors.
Among the invited guest lecturers are PO2 Stephen Gregas, assistant Police Community Relations (PCR) Police Non-Commissioned Officer (PNCO) of the Aklan Public Safety Company, PO3 William Aguirre, APPO investigator; SPO2 Joseph Agnate, PCR PNCO of New Washington Police Station; and PO2 Nida L. Gregas, Public Information Officer of APPO.
