Air Philippines Uses New AirBus 320

In a dynamic display of youthful dance and dramatic unveiling, the newest member of the Airphil Express (APX) fleet made its debut last Wednesday, September 29 ,2010 at the APX Headquarters in Pasay City.

The event was attended by aviation industry and government VIPs as well as corporate bigwigs from Airphil Express.  Led by APX Chairman, President and CEO, Mr. Domingo Chua,the aggressive low-cost carrier introduced its young dynamic roster of managers to the media and the rest of the industry.

In attendance at the event were APX partners in the aviation industry, Airbus and Avalon, as well as engine manufacturer CFM, e-commerce platform partner Sabre Airline Solutions, and travel insurance leader Chartis.

“This is a milestone event for Airphil Express. The RP-C8388 is the first of 4 Airbus aircraft for delivery this year. Our passengers to  Cebu, Davao and soon to Singapore will be the first to enjoy the new cabin look of the A320. You can expect fine blue leather seats, larger leg room and overhead cabin stowage areas all contribute to a cozier, more comfortable flight”, said Maria Java, APX Vice President for Marketing and Media.

The aircraft roll out program kicked off with a fashion show of their cabin crew’s new looks, moving to a more updated, professional and tailored look from the ultra casual get up Airphil Express has been using.
