Aeon Gives Grief Money to Japan Earthquake Victims

Aeon Co. <8267> said Monday that it has started paying out condolence and consolation money to group employees and their families who were affected by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami.

The major Japanese retailer will pay around 610 million yen, donated by employees at home and abroad and others, to some 6,000 affected people including nonregular workers.
