2012 Economy of Georgia

A recent public opinion poll has ranked Georgians as the world’s 10th least worried nation about economic setbacks like labor unrest or industrial disputes in 2012.

The poll, conducted by the Georgian Opinion Research Business International (GORBI) along with the WIN Gallup International, ranked the South Caucasus country as the 10th from the bottom among the 59 countries and regions polled for economic worries.

According to the poll, 23 percent of respondents believe the number of labor dispute incidents in the country would become fewer, 25 percent believe the situation would remain the same and 27 percent believe there would be more disputes.
